The New Year should be renamed the ‘New You.’

With health regimes being set, Valentine’s Day around the corner, and celebrations in the diary, now is the time to start thinking about your smile. It is projected that in 2017 1.2 trillion photos will be taken. So it’s important you look your best!

The new focus for our patient’s is their lips! After all, lips frame your smile. As we age, lines can appear around our lips, deteriorating our appearance and adding years onto us. Anti-ageing treatments on can reduce wrinkle lines, boost the volume, and redefine the shape of our lips.

Dermal Fillers are fast becoming a popular treatment. Full, plump lips appear youthful, whereas thin lips can be ageing and give the face a rather miserable look. We use Dermal fillers (hyaluronic acid), which are specifically designed to restore natural fullness and create beautifully shaped lips with a defined, yet natural-looking lip line.

Treatment cost is dependent on the number of tubes required to achieve the desired results. A tube is simply a measurement of the anti-wrinkle injectable liquid administered during treatment. Typically, for lips 1 – 2 tubes will be required. The cost depends on the type of dermal filler you’d like, how much dermal filler is required and how many areas you wish to be treated. You can often save money when you buy a course of dermal fillers.

Why go to the dentist for this treatment? Dentists are medical professionals with an in-depth knowledge of the face and mouth and for this reason are the best placed to conduct anti ageing treatments.
