Meet infinitidental clinic’s dynamic new hygienist
Darling chats to Suzanne Hogan
Tell me a little about yourself
I am delighted to be working with Wimbledon’s Infinitidental practice. I originally graduated from Guy’s, King’s College London and St Thomas’ Hospital in 2006 and was awarded ‘best academic achievement’. Alongside working in general practice, I deliver oral health education to schools and in the near future will be volunteering locally, helping people affected by dementia and their carers to improve their oral health.
Who can see the hygienist?
Absolutely everyone! I am able to give up to date advice regarding your teeth. I can help alleviate anything from bad breath issues to giving you that confidence back. I can give you tips for maintaining your oral health. Sensitivity and tooth wear is an increasing problem for the younger and older generation and I can assist you with this.
If you need some motivational help with children / teenagers, I will be delighted to see them and help educate them. Hygiene appointments are as important for children as for adults who are in the process of getting their teeth straightened. Orthodontists recommend regular hygiene appointments.
Do I need to see a dentist before I see you?
No, as you can access my services directly. I will conduct a thorough assessment and carry out any dental hygiene treatment that is necessary.
What if I don’t have gum disease? That’s great news! I can still help with freshening up your mouth by doing a gentle scaling of your teeth if necessary and polishing them. I can use the traditional method or I can use a more advanced jet polish procedure that removes staining and leaves your teeth and mouth feeling great. This can be done as a one off for that special treat, or as often as you like.
What do your patients say about you?
