Snoring can occur when the soft tissue at the back of the throat vibrates during breathing. This occurs when the lower jaw drops down and back during sleep, especially common when sleeping on one’s back. The tongue, which is a muscle, is attached to the lower jaw and as a result falls back to obstruct the airway either partially or completely. Partial obstruction result in noisy vibration of the tissues at the back of the throat when air passes through, commonly referred to snoring. When snoring becomes a persistent problem, Infinitidental Clinic’s Sleepwell® anti-snoring device can help.
Sleep Apnoea is a very serious condition that results in breathing stopping and starting during sleep. With complete obstruction of the airway by the tongue, air cannot pass through at all and one stops breathing. This may happen many times during the night and is termed Sleep Apnoea. There are a variety of symptoms of sleep apnoea. Some are quite evident and easy to notice such as loud snoring, waking up a lot or making gasping and choking noises. Some are perhaps, less evident, and go under the radar. These may include waking up a lot, daytime tiredness, difficulties in concentrating, mood swings and morning headaches.
If you’ve been to see a doctor and you know you have sleep apnoea, we can help you. With sleep apnoea, the flow of breathing is often interrupted and airflow is trapped. Here at Infinitidental Clinic, we’re proud to offer the latest gold standard device, Sleepwell®, that help our patients to treat, or at least reduce, the impacts of sleep apnoea.

Treats mild to moderate cases of sleep apnea – Anti-snoring devices are effective in improving the airflow of those who suffer from sleep apnoea. They also reduce nasal pressure and improve breathing patterns.
Carefully designed with internal splint fixing – This allows the patient to close their lips around the device and prevent dry lip and excess salivation.
High levels of patient comfort – The device is moulded specifically to casts made from digital scanning or impressions of the patient’s teeth and gums.
Full lateral movement – Infinitidental Clinic offers the Sleepwell® device; a well-fitting, custom made, soft lined and slim-line device which is well retained and has very little chance of displacement.
Our dentists in Wimbledon do not take responsibility for severe and life-threatening sleep apnoea cases. These types of cases must be treated by a sleep clinic medical professional at the hospital, usually with the use of a CPAP machine. However, evidence shows compliance with CPAP is limited after a number of years due to the drawbacks of the actual device such as noise, size, transporting when on holiday in addition to symptoms associated with its e.g. of dryness around the nose and eyes. Our anti snoring device can work in combination with CPAP machines to unblock the airway which in turn means the CPAP machine may be redundant or may be used at a lower airflow setting which may help reduce some of the side effects.
We can definitely help with mild to moderate cases.
Our snoring devices are designed to help increase the airflow when you’re asleep that helps to reduce or eliminate snoring. They also are proven to help breathing patterns and nasal pressure.
Our snoring devices are NOT guaranteed to completely eradicate snoring, but to significantly reduce it and therefore help you and your loved ones get much better regular sleep. Snoring occurs when the soft tissues at the back of the throat vibrates. This is not ideal for someone with sleep apnoea as it regularly interrupts breathing patterns. Our devices are manufactured and provided to combat this problem.
Here at Infinitidental Clinic, we understand that every individual is unique. That’s why all our snoring devices are bespoke and tailor-made to easily and comfortably fit your mouth. Thanks to the outstanding design of these devices – fitted with an internal splint – adjustment is easy to achieve ultimate comfort and effectiveness. As a result of this comfort and perfect positioning, it will also reduce the production of dry lips and excess salivation.
Infinitidental Clinic’s patient-friendly, device is custom-made to fit easily and comfortably in your mouth. The splint is adjustable to fit your jaw position and works by positioning the lower jaw forward and moving the tongue along with it. In its new position, the tongue no longer has the tendency to fall back into the throat and so allows the air to move freely, thus reducing or eliminating snoring.
After your initial consultation, our team will be able to get your measurements and start creating your bespoke Sleepwell® device that will fit perfectly. Any adjustments that are needed, after you’ve already started using the device, will also be taken care of by our professionals.
